Zon propane cannon / gun/ bird scarer

Does anyone have information or a owners manual /set up instructions etc for a Zon propane bird scarer. Picked one up at an auction and want to try and get it operating correctly.
No one around here knows anything about them and have had not luck on the internet.

When I connect it to the gas the bellows/ diaphragm expands and lifts the arm up but after that nothing happens. I did get it to fire once by accident so the piezoelectric (I think) ignition system seems to work. I am presuming the arm falls and produces a spark in the combustion chamber???

Can anybody point me in the right direction / has a manual / can share an internet link etc I would be grateful

Before I retired they had one of these or similar located inside a electric utility substation in downtown Nashville. It was right next next to the Jail. It took awhile for the local law enforcement to get used to it. I was inside the substation building one day and happen to be looking out the window and officers where walking up the street going to a court appearance. They would duck and cover EVERYTIME. :laughing:

They work well untill the birds get used to the boom. I can see this working best on a farm and not somewhere the birds are building nest. There is really not that much to them. Timer, ignitor, and a valve to release gas briefly. Loud as H@ll though.
