I had one of these Toro's... mine was a Z588E.

The hydros are very sensative, very easy to tear turf with.

One thing that doesn't help is the tires, they scuff easy.

meatier tires actually tend to scruff less...

What GATORBOY said about the *Y* technique is 100% correct, especially with the toro hyrdo system.

I think if you just want to spin around in a 180, you want the inside wheel moving back as the outside wheel moves forward. At least that's what I've been trying to do lately because I've scuffed some places pretty good with my Toro, too. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
