2019 Toolcat 5600
Recently bought a new 2019 Toolcat 5600 and received my Bobcat branded V-Plow a month later. My question is What controls on the joystick are supposed to run the angling? On mine the right wing can be controlled by the right cylinder icon or thumb toggle. The left wing is controlled by the top left and right arrows. To me the left wing should be controlled by the left cylinder icon. Are there different circuit boards for the Toolcat than the skid steers or track loaders? Could I have received the wrong plow if that痴 the case? Also my remote hydraulics fuse was missing from my Toolcat when I received it from the dealer, which seems odd to say the least.

I have a new 2019 ToolCat 5610 with the Bobcat 96" V-Plow, and the joystick controls are just like yours, which is just like the manual states (see attached photo). Agreed, it's not intuitive and I fumble around looking for the controls. The manual also explains the joystick controls for skid-steers, but they have two joysticks (left and right) with a thumb toggle on each - the left controls the left wing, the right controls the right wing.

Side note - do you find the controls (wing movement) to be extremely slow? I'm always waiting on it to reposition before continuing to plow.

Awesome, so my controls are correct. Just so you know I didn’t receive any manual with my attachment. My wing movement is really slow as well but from a couple videos I watched that seems to be the norm.

Not surprised you didn't get a manual. I didn't either, but I bellyached until the dealer made a copy of theirs which is stamped "DEALER COPY - NOT FOR RESALE". Odd.

I've gotten a lot of good advice and tips from this forum. Best thing ever, browse it often. Glad to contribute what little I can...

Will do ruffdog, I also have a 68” bucket,66” root grapple and a set of 4,000 lb rated 48” forks. As of now I’m waiting for the fork frame to arrive at the dealer and I still have to pick up the grapple from the dealer.

I finally received all of my attachments and even got the manuals for the plow and grapple. 4E62156A-749C-48F6-BDDD-9DA37EFE2B56.jpeg

the plow looks good on the Toolcat, I will be interested how it works, I have the V plow never tried it on the Toolcat figured the lift arm would take a beating, I use it on the S590, problem I have is the wings are real slow to respond,

neat storage for forks and bucket, have to do this and save some space in the shop

I haven’t had much snow yet to use the plow but I’m not digging the speed of it already. If I don’t like it I’ll be trading it in on a blower and adding a plow on my truck.

the S590 is too slow to use the V plow also snow packs on it sticking and not rolling off like my plow truck, the Toolcat I have the blower, works great when we have enough snow

I am suprise to hear that they are slow to move.
I bought a (5/10) m騁al Pless (Plowmaxx) and the wings are fast as ****.

Only equipped with a selenoid kit (35$ cdn) witch is very cheap stuff whem comparing to a bobcat 7 pin kit (1,450$ cdn).
Normaly bobcat attachement are pure Candy.

I would ask my dealer.

Good luck and have fun

Yes, check to see if a restrictor kit was installed to slow them up.

That is about the speed of mine. After the 18-24” we got today I’m ready for a blower

I think mine is about the same speed, too. Seems slow. Plus, with controls on a ToolCat's single joystick, it's pretty difficult to move both wings at once and maintain control of the joystick. I need a 3rd arm if I want to steer, tilt/lift, and move both wings on the move.

First time that i am disapointed in a Bobcat attachment.
Only reason that i shop for those is the price. Very expensive for my wallet.

So this would be very similar to a pick-up truck v-plow handle, just slower.

What i almost bought (no dealer in Canada yet).

that is quick to mine, there are times I have to operate the other wing to get it moving, the machine is a S590 and both plow and skidsteer have been back to dealer, they say no issues it is working at is should
