Of course it's irregularly shaped and front to back and top to bottom measurements depend on how it's situated, but figure three feet each.

Mine was 48 x 36 x ? I'm not sure of the measurement from front to back. It fit in the back of my F150 which has a cap on it.

Good advice I measured aproximately
34" depth and 32" height but it really depends on how it's sitting. 3x3 is perfect for planning.

Where did you find the WildKat Grapple for 599.00, I went to the Wildcat site and there are no offerings less than around 1000.00.

Thank you!

I think its been covered recently somewhere else but you have to call and ask for the 48" economy model. It is not offered on the website. $599 or $549 with no couplings.

The above quote came from 12/28/11 on this thread but it looks like they added it to their website and jumped the price $350... or does it mean you have to call to get the $549 price?
I see they have a 48" Mini Econo Grapple at 420lbs for $900 on the site now or is that a different one?

When I first heard about the Wildcat 48" econograpple I had a hard time finding it on their website. I saw it on eBay. Probably best to call them and ask for it by price range.

By the way, while I haven't personally seen one of these Wildcat grapples, I can tell from the various photos and posts that they are very similar to my 48" Millonzi. No bells, no whistles. No lubrication points, nothing to break. I have had my grapple in service for going on six years now and it remains my favorite implement and is still rock solid. I have bent the fangs, heated and straighten them without any problem. Mild steel is a wonderful material to work with so don't get bamboozed by companies selling high strength steel grapples. Mine has a single hydraulic cylinder and I don't see any reason for two. This style grapple depends mostly on gravity to hold the load in place, the upper grapple arm just "hugs" the load so it doesn't fall out. You don't need a lot of hydraulic force for most operations. Even when you do, one cylinder is fine.

Check out the photo of my DK40se and 300lb Millonzi sucking a big granite rock (about a ton) out of the ground while clamped with the grapple. I did not know the rock was this big and just clamped on the tip before pulling it out of the ground. The other photo of the CK20 shows that a narrow single arm grapple can clamp and carry a much bigger load than just 48". No reason to have a wider, heavier or more expensive grapple IMO. I think these two photos tell you about all you need to know about the toughness and versatility of these little grapples.

You need to call unless they recently changed prices. A board member bought a grapple from them after I made that post for$549.
