I read a bit on here about quick hitches....and being a little on the "frugal side"....I decided to buy the #$%^& HF Quick Hitch first. After fooling around with it and spending considerable time to do a make-over on the hitch and spending more money for hardware changes (in order to make my implements fit) not to mention the #$%^&* hook that don't line up with anything........I decided to give up on the HF quick hitch and admit defeat. I bought the Pats cat 1 for my JD790 and now I think I will be a happy camper. Pat threw in the extra needed bent washer "thingies" with my order and the installation was a breeze. Good instructions...with pictures....mabye 15 minutes. Haven't had a chance to use them much yet, or do implement changes....But...I can tell a good product when I see it...and this is a well done product. Looks like a terrific solution.
Thanks Pat.
OH....and I'm still "frugal" I made my own "spreader bar" from some rod and a tube in an hour or so...and saved a few dollars....lol.
Maybe my HF hitch will work for a log skidder?
