I finally got my new L5740 Cab tractor and all the extra super-sized goodies delivered to it's new home. After a little bit of time on it, all I can say is "Wow". In an earlier post http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...e-huge-mistake-today-test.html?highlight=5740 DaddyRabdit described catching mahogany while trying out one of these machines. Viagra step aside. Besides, I'd rather receive unsolicited tractor email than Viagra offers... but man is this a nice machine.
I got the rear work lights, wiper, and defroster options, which you can see in this picture. The tractor is pretty tricked out adn also includes the front loader 3rd function for a grapple, etc., and all three rear remotes.
Here are the Bradco pallet forks on the quick attach front loader. The bucket is just a bit visible in the foreground
And the Bradco 511 backhoe. This backhoe is amazing after using my Kubota 4690 and a woods 9000. There's just no comparison. This thing is smooth, has great reach, feather touch controls, a foot-peddle actuated hydraulic thumb, and swing speed control. The swing speed control, I particularly like since my 4690 had a hyperactive swing. I was a little worried that the hydraulic flow from the tractor would result in a slow machine, but that's not the case. I ran at around 1400 RPM and it was plenty fast for casual work. And then there's the power. I went at a few stumps that have been annoying me for years, but didn't want to take the time to dig out with the 4690. I had them all popped out in about 20 minutes.
And the new mower. Can you tell there is a color theme going here? I hopeful I'll get to use this before the snow is here to stay, but we'll see...
And the snow blower. I went from a 54" to a 74", which should speed up the 1/2 mile of road I need to tackle, plus car parking area. I got a hydraulic rotator, but manual chute deflector.
And finally, it's chipper time! This is a 6" Salsco chipper with hydraulic feed, including the feed sensor/control to prevent stalling. I don't know how much stalling it will be doing with over 50hp pushing it, but just in case.
