'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house

Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;

But all over the world, the TBN keyboards did clatter

as they talk about what they ate, and surely did get fatter


When who should appear, way up in the cab of that John Deere?

It's Santa and his combine full of good cheer and presents ,

there's a TNT, a quick hitch, extra pins and even a smoked pheasant

So what will he leave for Wayne and Bird and all of our Xmas Daves?


Well, what do you know, he left his two favorite elves to tuck in their faves.

On Brandi, on Farm Girl, on Donner and Blitzen, up they went into the Christmas night

With Farm Girl's hands on the bright candy cane stick, they looped the clouds on that marvelous flight

Merry Christmas it is 28 degrees this morning and looks like a partly cloudy day.
Off to see my doctor this morning and find out what is going to take place with my knee problem
suspect that it will be surgery or maybe they have a wonder drug that will fix it.
Heck of a way to spend Christmas eve.

I have it on good authority that one of elves that tuck you in tonight
will fix that knee right up.

Hmmmm, no white Christmas for us. But we are all together and all are tucked away sleeping soundly.

18*F, cloudy, light winds. I think the overcast gloom of the past several days is trying to clear out, some sunshine would be a wonderful thing. The electrons in my solar panels have forgotten where the EXIT is. :laughing:

Got the coffee pot brewing. 43° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 68° with sun and a few scattered clouds. Got at Christmas pageant to attend today. Should be a good lead up to Christmas day.

well I probably missed a whole bunch of TBN lady members and to them
I say, grab a seat on the sleigh, there's room for all.

ok, now I indulge in my annual foolishness and am off to the local mall on Christmas Eve to Macy's where I like to look at the decorations, and if they have any Godiva chocolate left, need to find some for the MIL 's xmas gift bag.
Since I am in no rush, finished the last of the presents wrapped a little while ago, after being energized by my attempts at hackneyed prose, I'm just
going to walk around a bit and see what's happening. And then come home for a rest and to get cleaned up for tonight's festivities.

I was amazed how few people there were in the mall last Christmas Eve. Hope this year is livelier. There's nothing like looking down from the floor above on Santa below talking to the little kids. The camera flashes wink, the big tree spins to holiday music and at some point I say that's enough for me, I've had my dose of commercial Christmas. Now home to family.

22F overcast w/4mph breeze,last 4 days of the balmy weather about 10"inch snow melted tonight the gtound going to tighten up hard..well below 0F.
