I'm trying to get the 2230 ready for winter by removing 54" deck. The L links are giving me one heck of a fight. Am I doing something wrong? The deck is set to zero. I'm pulling hard on them, but the springs aren't budging. I only do this per year, so it takes me awhile to relearn everything.

I just finished mowing about 1 acre of pasture. I raised the deck to transport the 2230 back to the garage. When I tried to lower the deck again for cleaning and storage, it only went down half way. I tried it over and over again, but it still would only drop half way. Any solutions?
