Daily Driver 1994 F-350 4x4 Cummins Powered Flatbed

Well I finally found my dream machine the other day and I went and Bought it today. I drove 225 miles round trip to get this beast and drive it back.

A little about this truck:
late 1994 F-350 Cab and Chassis, 4x4, ZF 5 speed was a turbo 7.3 truck
139,000 Miles on the truck
1990 Cummins motor, VE injection pump, Turned up way to high and aftermarket fuel pin.
Other goodies, 3rd gen cummins intercooler, Bigger Radiator, Decent flatbed with LEDs and two nice boxes on the sides.

My plans for it:
Reliable Daily Driver that can get at least 18-20 Mpg, Still Pull a decent load ,and Looks and rides good.

What it Needs:
I need to check and see if the Killer Dowel Pin Problem has Been fixed, Help with the interior (color change), Good service, Tires sometime soon. And some brake work (just in case)

Here it is when I finally got it home, It cruised 70 Mph and Ran Very Very Cool down the road, Over all im pleased with it so far

They make spray paint for interior plastics and cloth, I did it to a red interior car years ago and it worked great. I sold it shortly after so I don't know about longevity but it was cheap.
Good idea putting a Cummins in vs the non-Powerstroke turbo 7.3l, hopefully it has a decent clutch.

well they didn't in these light duty trucks but they did in the medium duty trucks (2 1/2 ton trucks)

I paid 7 cash for it, and went to Tennessee to get it.

That is certainly an option but I would like to find maybe a cheap broken f-150 with decent gray interior and just swap it all out and be done.

Its good a good Valair Clutch in it, so I dont have to worry about that aspect.

Yeah Thats what sold me on this particular one, Its got some chipped and dented paint but other than that its solid.

Thank You guys! I have been searching for about 3 years now for something similar, I pounced on this one since it had a good body and 4 wheel drive. I had been kicking myself from missing out on a early superduty of the same body style with a cummins and dump bed about a month ago.


I Have also been wondering If anybody knew of a good source for 19.5" wheels on the 8 on 6.5" lug pattern that is on these trucks.

I know they came on Cummins powered bread truck occasionally but I was wondering if they are known to come on anything else?

I have been watching a excursion with a cummins on ebay. You made me drooll looking at your new purchase best of both worlds. I would take that truck over any of the new electric high dollar junk at dealers now days.
