I work just chime in with others that many times diabetes can be reversed. I reversed pre diabetes with intermittent fasting… which helped me lose the extra body fat.

Doctors don’t really stress that. The best treatment often is free.

And if you need a little help with the fasting part there is a 5 day fasting mimicking diet Prolon company that makes it easy. (consult with your dr if taking a prescription because it might have to be reduced)

When mentioning something like this you should always clarify Type 2 Diabetes. Type 1 is not reversible. It can be misleading to people who are not familiar with it.

Yes in Type 1 diabetes the islet cells have been substantially or completely killed, many times by the immune system itself.

Even type 1 diabetics can improve their condition by losing fat and getting in shape.

Science is gaining in this area, it is important not to believe everything your doctor tells you, because the condition is not well understood by average doctors.

Who knows if the body can regrow islet cells? And you what extent? And what can be done to help the process? ——fasting——fasting——fasting—-

NIH study:
Natural restrictions on the islet regeneration are very tight; nevertheless, the islets are capable of physiological regeneration via β-cell self-replication, direct differentiation of multipotent progenitor cells and spontaneous α- to β- or δ- to β-cell conversion (trans-differentiation).

Too much info to get into, but the body can do many things in a fasted state that will not happen when constantly processing food.

Which is why I’m selling you my knowledge in this matter for only $19.99, send to @tractortroof thank you very much.

And definitely don’t get medical advice from TBN lol

From a BBC article

The pancreas can be triggered to regenerate itself through a type of fasting diet, say US researchers. Restoring the function of the organ - which helps control blood sugar levels - reversed symptoms of diabetes in animal experiments. The study, published in the journal Cell, says the diet reboots the body.

it is important not to believe everything your doctor tells you,
Or even worse their specialists.
I'm on warfarin/coumadin to prevent blood clotting. Vitamin K (phylloquinone) affects blood clotting.
My diet had included 1/4 cup of cabbage daily.
The "coumadin specialty clinic" advised me to stop taking 500mg turmeric capsules because turmeric contains Vitamin K.
100g of green cabbage (little over a cup) contains 170mcg. Thus my daily regime included about 40mcg of Vitamin K.
1 capsule of turmeric contains about 0.1 mcg.
Like all else,
Trust but verify.

Diabetes - a disease of national epic proportions. A disease that most in the field want to treat not prevent. There is no where near the profit in prevention.
