If you've read here, I'm sure you're aware that there is something you should be aware of on the BX when working in the rough stuff and that is the little plastic fan that cools the hydrostat. Several people, including myself, have broke the blades off this little jewel. After I had to replace mine, I came up with this solution


Hmmm. I hadn't heard of that particular problem (and here I thought I'd done a pretty decent reasearching job prior to signing the papers.... :( ) I did avoid the 2350 because I'd read of the "impressive" stopping power when letting off reversing. (plus, it was a good excuse to pick a machine that had a few more HP :D ). Popping off that fan would sure ruin a good day of tractoring....
