I know this has been beat to death in the past, but I can’t find more recent comparisons or price comparisons.
I plan to trade my 1880 on one of these two this summer. I like the 1880 but I have found a few instances I need a few more HP and also having a 60” deck would be nice.
Deere drive over deck and twin touch pedals seem to be its main strengths. I very much dislike the treadle pedal and slide out deck on my BX1880.
Kubota certainly has the advantage for loader removal and I’m betting cost. I was quoted $17,500 for 2380 loader mower and tractor by two dealers. I have not priced Deere yet but I’d guess it’s over $20k.
Is the 1025 still king of the hill or is it “overkill”? If not for the deck and pedals I’d prefer the Bx for a few reasons.
I use my tractor for mainly mowing but some light loader and 3 point work.
