M7060 Tire Choices

I went with radials and cost was $330.00 they are some big tires and put a very large footprint on the ground, worked well with 2K on the pallet driving around on sod, did a 20 mile drive on the highway and they were only warm and are filled with water, didn't need any more ballast to pick up 2k.

I wish I’d went Radials with my 7060 rather than the standard R4.

Ok thanks. That's what I wanted is the 30" Radial but it isn't listed as an option unless you get the cast rear Rims. Are yours Goodyear?

Cast is the way to go.

My dealer checked with factory to see if radials versus the industrial tires would hold up the order, and radials were in stock and I only paid his price for the difference.

R1 standard tires on my M7060 with cast centers and filled. Moved the rear wheels out to just inside the maximum spread. It feels very solid.

Thanks for all the replies. I think i will go with the radial goodyear 34" for the rears, just a little concerned about the added height.

Kind of late post but the tires on the 34" rims are less than 3/4" diameter taller than the 30" cast tires.

Size: 420/75R34: ( (420 X 75 X 2 / 2540 ) + 34 = 58.8 inches tall.

Size: 420/85R30: ( (420 X 85 X 2 / 2540 ) + 30 = 58.1 inches tall.

Question then is which is better the high profile Yokohama tire or low profile Goodyear.

Which will put more tire in touch with the ground?

Messick's has new video to help with Goodyear VS Yokohama radial tire. The Goodyear is supposed to be a better road tire with some loss of traction but better on turf.

I have 480/70R30 radials on my T4.75. This is the first tractor that I've run with radials. I like them. You will too. All of the accolades and positives stated in this thread and others are spot on. IMHO they are worth the added expense.

To follow up on my tire questions. I purchased the M7060 with the radial tires, got delivered yesterday. Love the wide front tires, looks good, very pleased with my decision. Thanks for all the comments.
