Back at it again after about 2 weeks of rain & mud.
Cleaning up more logs.
I hauled 18 loads in first 2 weeks of January.
Then 2 weeks of snow & rain.

Back at it with logs this week. Here’s a few pics.

I’m trying to saw everything about 11-12’ to fit in the dump box.

Cruising through part of the old King Ranch on the way to the log processing plant. Man that’s a beautiful sight.

Here’s a picture I took of some Long Horns and Charolais. Charolais was the primary beef cattle raised on the KR. They had thousands of them. So many, they shipped them by railcar.

KR all gone now. I went to grade school with the children of dads who worked the 14,000 acre ranch. All gone. I guess we can just get our beef from China?

Hit 90,000 miles on the IH-7500!

These guys don’t fool around. They have mountains of wood mulch. Like 40’ high. Here they are starting the process of chipping into smaller chunks. The log pile on the right side is like 1,000’ long.

What do you mean by "all gone now"?

There are more beef cattle raised within 150 mile radius of Bryan-College Station Texas than the rest of the country according to the smart guys at Texas A&M.
