New Vermeer 5410 Rebel Baler

I bought a Rebel 5410 in 09, broke 1st belt on the 20th bale I now have 300 bales and 8 broken belts, and they are not cheap!, now my tail gate comes open at 34-37 inches. i have adjusted the latches, reversed hoses , had the cylinder seals replaced, and it still comes open. the dealer tells me something must be wrong with my tractor. (Kubota 5040) ANY help or ideas? Please.

It is real easy to determine if the hydraulic problem is in the baler or in the tractor. All you have to is close your tail gate and remove your baler couplers from your tractor and tie them up so the will not drag or get in the way of the PTO. Then go bale a full bale of hay. If your gate comes open during this process then the problem is in the baler but if it does not come open, then your problem is in your tractor.
