I think of it this way. It took Mother Nature millions of years to make the oil, I doubt it would "go bad" within our life time.

I got news for you - mother nature didn't make your transmission fluid anymore than she made the computer you're using right now.

Crude oil, and refined oil, are two ENTIRELY different things.

That's the same kind of thinking as people who dump their oil on the ground and say "well that's where it came from isn't it?"

just mix it 50/50 with acetone and use it as penetrating oil- works better than most you can buy ; but it has a short shelf life after mixing , so mix it as you need it.
