We just got started on the siding and it was time to go back to work. Had a good week but needed more time.

Log Siding..... To keep the wood fresh and clean we paint the log siding with two of the three coats of stain before we installed it. New wood sitting out for weeks before paint gets so black and never gets really clean....

Well we got the log siding done and next Tues. starts the rock work. That will tie it all together.

Can't wait.....

WOW! It's really came together nice. I love the red roof and log siding. Looking forward to seeing the rock.

OK, I'm back at it this weekend and next week. We just got strarted with the stone work on the barn and got the front done. The rain set in as we started the side & rear. Here's a shot from the hill above the barn.
