nice, that 3 pt on the rear means you don't have to drive around backwards with a lot of implements.

Where did you put the fuel tank? Underneath the engine?

The fuel tank is actually on top of the engine compartment. That is one reason center of gravity became so important.

I've wondered if the 1430 would be a better platform to install a small diesel since it was originally offered with a 30hp diesel option (presumably larger engine compartment)? But then I also wonder if the PT425 might still be the better choice if someone was trying to stick to a 25hp and under diesel in order to not have to deal with a DPF emissions system? The idea being that 25hp is still only 25hp which the PT425 was designed around in the first place in terms of overall weight, mower width, etc.

It used to be a lot easier to find small diesel engines. Here's a 23 hp yanmar replacement for a Polaris UTV, but no flywheel housing. Yanmar 3TNM72-APB 3 Cylinder Diesel Engine For Polaris Ranger Diesel UTV | eBay

I'd be interested in any suggestions for an easier diesel engine replacement.

Kubota rtvx900 and x1100. Really super solid engines but liquid cooled.
