I started to say excluding logging, because Ag treads are designed for soft soil. I have so many trees, here that if you exclude the orchard, you could clear cut my place in about 15 minutes if you didn't hurry. My dad's place has about 70 acres of very old Oaks and people here don't usually sell trees for timber. He cut small trees and brush off 20 acres with a Bulldozer and just pushed some of them in some washes and threw dirt in on top of them and burned the rest.
Yeah chains have their place, I just have never seen them on an agricultural tractor around here. The tractor is what you go get when the 4WD gets stuck. If the tractor gets stuck, you let the ground dry a little. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
