TSC Chainsaw Sharpener

What many folks overlook is those little thingies between the cutting teeth.

I have heard them called rakers, or is it wreckers? I use a flat file/rasp to lower them every other time I sharpen.

I just bought the Timberline Sharpener, its a manual guide with carbide tips. It showed me that I can hand sharpen in one direction only! Check it out, I think it is a great tool.

I will certainly let you know what I think about it. I will still use a file but this may be a nice little thing to have.

And if I don't like it I can always sell it.

If I had one that nice it'd be much better on one of my shop machine upgrades & I can always use the HFT for saw chains.

I have heard that you have to be careful with a electric sharpener, you can take the temper out of the chain.

I upgraded to one of these. It was $30 when I got mine.
