At one time I was in the wholesale consumer trade.
A large % of 'shrinkage' was attributed to employees helping themselves, more than actual shoplifting.
Folks don't realize that on line shopping, while convenient, is largely overcome by shipping fees. (hint-invest in UPS or other carriers)
As to Walmart , my local one has been great. Over the phone they actually gave me a credit for a product that was less than par, (rushed in next day to obtain the credit).
On a product that I wanted the Mgr actually imported it from another store and called to advise it was in. Naturally I took advantage of the efforts. I suspect that not all are that concerned as to client satisfaction. ( wish there was a post that I could have credited that employee)
All to say, some retailers have it and some don't enuf said.
I am a patient sort, I peruse China web sites and willing to wait for delivery as I tend to plan ahead.
So far I am most satisfied with the majority of my buy. OK some are disappointing but overall I can't complain.
