I'm late to this thread and have posted this in other threads, but I have a little Bolens BL410 cultivator that does a great job. I had the same tiller in the Ryobi model and used it until it was falling apart. I call this my "gas-a-hoe." It works great for everything but close tilling where I use a 4-tine cultivating fork. Nothing beats the manual cultivator for close work, but the gas-a-hoe keeps my middle rows weed free and tilled nicely so I pull in soil around new seedling plants. There's nothing like starting with well tilled fluffy soil in the garden and I use my KK tiller to prepare the garden before planting. I use an old Dearborn cultivator plow with hilling discs to layout hilled rows for planting.
