3320 John Deere
All I Expected
Model Year: 2011

Bought this guy after wife and I both hurt our shoulders last winter clearing brush and pulling vines from our pecan tree restoration project. It has done all I've asked once I learned to adjust the auto parking bolts of my 300 CX FEL. I've brush hogged, dug post holes, moved and spread gravel, cut a road to build a dam on my creek and even knocked over my mother-in-law's carport (the ROP is taller than me). For a 33 hp/25hp PTO, it's quite the little tank. I found one similar with 400 hrs on it, but when I priced the payments the new one for 0% made the most sense. I'll probably just break 400 hrs when this one is paid off. Attachments are pretty cheap in this economy, so I have a post hole digger, box blade, landscape rake and the FEL. Almost as much fun as buying guns.

Pros: Full capable and easy on fuel.
Cons: Green costs more than orange.

Love my JD 3320
Model Year: 2007

I was a loyal Kubota owner and was about to upgrade to a B3030 with factory cab. I stumbled upon the JD which was owned by a guy in town I know. I went and looked at it and liked what I saw. I can't quite explain it but it just looked better built. Better fit and finish and quality. So I went home and researched it. Turns out it's quite a bit bigger, heavier and has much higher lift capacities. After agreeing to a price I bought it and could not be happier. The cab is roomy and well laid out. It's has tons of power, is simple to operate and is smooth. The loader is very powerful, quick and smooth. Bottom line is I love my John Deere 3320!

Pros: Lots of power.
Cons: Pricey compared to others but worth it!

Upgraded from a 755 John Deere to a new 3320 John Deere, really happy with this upgrade, had no problems with the 755 (had 850 hours) and had no problems so far with the new one (160 hours). Also, looking for a used 665 tiller. The cheapest new one I found was about $2800.00 - looking for something used.

Pros: Really like the e-hydro system.
Cons: None some far.

JD 3320-6 Years Later!
Model Year: 2005

This review is in response to a solicitation from the administrator. As noted by my ratings, I have had nothing but good experience with this machine. It is my third Deere but first new one. I previously had a 317, and a 755 that I bought with 70 hours. I have about 4 acres of which about an acre is grass. I also have a 500 ft gravel drive and live in a snow belt in central Mass. I have a 300 CX loader, 6' Myers power angle plow, york rake, box blade and a 60" Land Pride rear mount. Recently I dug a boulder out that I thought was a small "stone". Turned out to be 15.5 ft in diameter (oblong) with an average thickness of 2 ft.! I figure it went between 2000 and 2500 lbs. This machine has guts. It has also done a lot of work at the local ag.fairgrounds including a quite a few hours running a Harley Rake.

Pros: A great all around package that can do serious work.
Cons: Nothing other than I wish Deere would develope a drive line disconnect button much like big loaders have in combination with a foot throttle so you could speed up loader work. I'm not one of those guys who believes in keeping the throttle set at 2200!

3320 John Deere
Versatile, Powerful and a Ton of Fun
Model Year: 2009

I purchased this little number going on two years ago to start laying irrigation pipe and landscaping three acres for a new home. Also purchased a backhoe attachment, a rear blade, canopy, etc. Am considering a tiller as well. I've had no trouble at all - other than in weather below zero, better plan on fuel additives and keeping 'er in the garage. The first winter I had it the fuel gelled up frequently until I could find a way to store it in a warmer place. I dug 1,250 feet of trench 4'-6' deep with an Amerequip hoe attachment. While the machine doesn't have the power of a bigger machine, few things have as much utility as the 3320. It does need some front weights when using heavy equipment on the back side, but other than that, the bucket works well, it's extremely well-built, and I enjoy every minute on it.

Pros: Versatile, strong, fuel efficient, well-built, & low maintenance.
Cons: Pushing snow is a problem at times because it's fairly light - minor problem.

3320: Envy of My Peers
Model Year: 2008

E tranny with 300CX loader. I replaced my JD2210 with this rig. The bigger tractor was better at plowing, but that is about all. For a nursery/dairy type trade, this machine gets it done. The standard bucket will dig in hard pack if you take your time. Being old and half senile, I ran into a low section of the barn a couple of times because I didn't remember the little guy has roll bar. No damage--Keep in in B range and the electronic load control shuts disconnects the drive. I don't like the PTO to shut off when I stand up to look for holes while mowing, but I did not disable that because I bought this rig so the wife and kids could help me.

Pros: Awesome dirt/manure mover and mows good too.
Cons: Does not plow like a regular row cropper.

Nice tractor w/cab. I wish I would have went a little bigger as it tends to bog down when I snow blow with a 5 ft. blower. Although in Northern Maine the snow is deep!

Pros: Comfortable.
Cons: Needs more horse power (pto).

The Tractor Guy 22

3320 John Deere
3320 is a Great Tractor for the Size
Model Year: 2009

Great all around tractor. So far I've used it for disking, tilling, mowing, grading, and some loader work. PowerReverser is the way to go if you plan on disking or heavy grading work. At 300 hrs, the water pump pulley blew apart and took the water pump with it. The dealer replaced it under warranty with no complaints. Probably should of gone with the 3520 to pull my DH1280 Disk, but it gets the job done. Plenty of traction with the industrial tires, and the cx300 loader is very user friendly with the standard bucket.

Pros: Great tractor for 5 ft. attachments, works reasonable with 6 ft. attachments.
Cons: Water pump pulley has a habit of disintegrating, can't pull 8 ft drag disks.

Overall, I'm quite pleased with this unit. My last tractor was a smaller Kubota (17hp) and this one is obviously a much stronger tractor. The controls of the 3320 are well placed and responsive. Mine came with a 6ft bucket, 300x, which suited me as I use it for snow removal. One thing took some getting used to was the play in the loader frame it seems as if it is quite loose. I'm sure that this is due to all the pins and whatnot but it moves a lot. I like the auto warm up feature that high revs til its ready to go.

Pros: Will lift heaping 6ft bucket of dirt.
Cons: Still haven't figured some of the dash symbols out.

3320 John Deere
JD 3320 with JD cab
Model Year: 2010

This is a great tool for the homestead. I bought a box blade, loader, tiller, and brush hog. The tractor has exceeded expectations. Good loader performance, reasonable fuel economy. The cab is great. Looking forward to pushing snow. Bought from Fillmore Equipment in Jenison, Mi. The service has exceeded expectations.

Pros: Good power, fuel economy, ergonomics, dealer support.
Cons: Not the cheapest tractor around.

Deere Green
Model Year: 2005

I am a previous owner of a JD 770, JD 790 and now a 3320. I am very satisfied with tractor--it has many nice features the previous two tractors did not have. The tractor implements are a 6 ft woods finish mower, 5 foot grade master blade, woods box blade, and a 300x loader. Not to mention this tractor was a savior after hurricane Gustav. The property looked like a logging deck.

Pros: Sips fuel, a comfortable flat operators platform, & ease of maintenance.
Cons: I had one issue with brakes, but fixed it was by the dealer--no questions asked.

3320 John Deere
Excellent tractor
Model Year: 2008

I traded in a 4200 for a 3320 w/ cab and 300CX FEL and 375 backhoe, and have been completely happy with it tending my 5-acre wooded acreage. My uses are snow removal, materials hauling, tree management, landscaping. I was tired of fighting the wind while moving snow, so opted for the cab. I moved snow in a bitter blizzard with subzero windchills in my tee-shirt this winter, and picked up tree limbs in 105 degree heat in complete comfort. The backhoe is used for stumps, trenching, hauling, etc and this tractor has more than enough capacity for anything I've done. I also use a rear blade and post hole digger on the 3-point with ease. Its built like a Deere, of course, and I chose the quality, and have not been disappointed once. I would call this the perfect acreage tractor that will last a lifetime.

Pros: Small, but powerful.
Cons: The cab makes it two inches too tall to fit under a standard 7' garage door.

3320 John Deere
Disappointed John Deere Owner
Model Year: 2006

This could be a wonderful little tractor. It is powerful enough, comfortable, well built, and impressive looking. But this tractor has failed me in its operation. It will shut down after 2 hours operation. It should mow my 6 acre yard in 3 hours, but it takes me 6 to 7 hours to do my yard because this tractor motor keeps shutting down...going dead. This shutting down has occurred from the very beginning...even when the treactor was under warranty...but my local dealer could not locate or correct this problem. I dare not even drive across the highway for fear it will go dead right in the middle of the road. I have bought 10 filters, changed the source of my diesel fuel, and followed every suggestion my dealer made, but nothing has helped. Now my tractor is out of warranty and I can't afford to pay to have it analyzed and repaired. I am very unhappy with my John Deere 3320. I bought this tractor so I could tend to my big yard comfortably and dependably....it is not performing up to the standards that John Deere promises. The John Deere Company should stand behind my tractor or replace it at their expense.

Pros: powerful, comfortable cab, well built, impressive looking
Cons: Shuts down (goes dead) after 2 hours of operation

Little Big Tractor
Model Year: 2006

This was the largest e-hydro tractor I could afford. I also got the 300CX loader, bolt on loader bucket grapple, 447 backhoe (9" and 13" buckets), 72" box blade, post hole digger (8" and 12" augers), 3 point palette forks, and Farmi logging winch. I have since added a tooth bar and clamp on forks for the loader bucket, and an inexpensive landscape rake. It has water loaded R4 tires. For a compact this tractor is very strong. Most appreciated is the precise hydro control on my very steep and rough property in the California coastal range. Worst feature- seat adjustment. Dealer- Rainbow Ag, Ukiah, CA. Problems: Worn through hydraulic hose on backhoe because of a faulty hose clamp. JDs fault. Replaced by dealer. Problems with bucket grapple installation. Dealer fault. Fixed by dealer. Broken lower right 3 point arm. Lost pin. My fault. Broken backhoe stabilizer cylinder. Lost pin. I think this is a design flaw because the pin keeper was a cotter pin that sheared off, but I should have been watching. I replaced all the pins with hardened bolts and double nutted them. I had the cylinder welded for $40, but had to pay $160 for restocking a new one that I had ordered for just in case. Beware this JD practice. I am very satisfied with the competence of this little machine.

Pros: Strong for its size
Cons: You can never have a big enough tractor

Very nice machine with just the right amount of power for my needs, as the only PTO equipment I use is the 72" auto connect mower, which is real easy to install and take off.

Pros: Well built
Cons: Could have had a little wider stance, as it is tipsy. Vertical exhaust pipe could be about 10" talle

My OS 3320 e-hdy 300cx and 447 BH
Model Year: 2007

This tractor has been great, just one problem caused by either very cold temp and/or lots of snow. I have loaded tires but would like more spread on my R4 tires, just seems tippy at times. Did 100 hr. of backhoe work for a friend for their new house. 5' deep water by 250' and 3' electric/gas 250' + 100'. Had only small problem going thru old dead tree roots with 16" bucket. I think the best part was I was getting about 5 hours per gallon of fuel. I added a FEMCO weather brake this year and it makes it real nice when its cold and wind is blowing. Wished I had gotten a heavy duty front bucket instead of the 61" I got. I'm on wrong PC and can't send photos at this time.

Pros: Nice size
Cons: I live in hills (6260') and it feels tippy at times
