John Deere 3320
Model Year: 2006

Good little tractor. Annoying electrical problems keep me from rating five stars on build quality.

Pros: Very easy on fuel, well built, good performance for a small tractor
Cons: Electrical problems: voltage regulator caused battery to overflow, fuel sender erroneous

3320 John Deere
John Deere 3320, R4s, 300X loader, 72" MMM 7-iron
Model Year: 2005

I bought my tractor from Cross Implement in Minier IL, a rural Ag tractor dealer. Brad Cross really worked with me to get me the tractor I wanted at the price I wanted - a trait I really like in rural dealers. The 3320 at the time was the logical choice for dealing with IL snow, loading, and mowing of 6 acres back in 2005 (there was not the choices that there are in 2010 in the smaller compact tractor lines). I added hydraulic lines down the 300X loader (300CX option that I made work) and I use my loader with a 72" hydraulic angled Deere (thank you John) snow plow as well. The 300X loader is strong and really works well with Load Match but make sure you have plenty of ballast. Also a good set of pallet forks will change the way you do a lot of work around the yard. Forks are also great to load and move wood and tools. The R4 tires are a perfect choice for the light loading I do and are easy on the lawn even while mowing. The 7-iron 72" deck has been great and I am just now changing blades and will change the belt soon as I noticed a crack. I also did my 400 hour service at 300 hours ans many tractor owners recommended it at 200 hours and I was lazy. Took a few hours but I was slow. Definitely doable by any wrench owning tractor owner. I am happy with my 3320 Deere and would buy again!

Pros: Has enough PTO hp and weight do to the fun work without needing a barn to store it in. Large backhoe option, and a full suite of attachments make it very powerful for sub 10 acres. I would not want smaller to push snow.
Cons: Price - you only cry once though. This one will cost as much as a truck!

3320 John Deere
3320 with 300 CX Loader and Cab
Model Year: 2009

Traded in my JD 850 (purchased new in 85) for this tractor due to my age...knees were having trouble with all the clutching. Decided to splurge on the cab in that much of the use is winter snow removal. Really enjoy the heated cab, hydrostatic trans and the power steering...no longer have aches and pains the day after. Easy to maneuver, great visibility and relatively quiet (thanks to the cab). Due to my wife's surgery last spring and my present job (retired from teaching after 35 years..now work for a non-profit) where I'm quite busy from April-Nov, I wasn't able to use it as much as I would have liked last summer...Have a back log of projects

Pros: Comfortable, easy to operate
Cons: If I had unlimited $$ and could build and entirely new barn and buy new implements I would like something bigger...but who wouldn't

3320 John Deere
Great Medium Size Tractor
Model Year: 2008

My 3320 does a lot of work around the place. It's thrifty, has comfortable seat, and is the hydro trans version. I had only one episode of trouble thus far; the battery voltage got to low to fire the electronic command module, and the electrical system went haywire. Indicator lights flashed, starter only buzzed, nothing worked except the electric fuel pump. New battery, problem solved!! I was told that anything less than 11.5 volts on the battery would cause this. Folks at shop scratched their head on this one. Other than that, it's been a real workhorse. It'll pull a 12" single bottom turning plow as good as the big tractor. At times, though, I wish I had the regular tires instead of the short lugs. I filled the tires, so it does grip a bit better than ordinary. I like the tilt steering wheel.... easy to get out of the seat. And the no hump foot platform.. don't have to step over a transmission to get on board.

Pros: Easy handling, thrifty..
Cons: Lacking in easy rear hydraulic connections.

So far, a solid tractor with excellent features and performance.

Pros: Generally excellent in every way
Cons: Nothing note worthy besides neighbors wanting to borrow it
