I put a set on the 3038E a while back, & finally got around to adding a pair of Ken's bolt on's to the 1025R bucket. I've been dragging a fair amount of dead wood out lately, often using a tie down chain secured by wrapping it onto a pin on bucket hitch. These should make things a little quicker & easier. The short length of chain, like the one between the hooks, can be used for a centered pull point without shortening the pull chain.

As usual, Ken's shipped everything quickly & complete. A spritz of JD green & they were ready to go on.

I ordered some stuff from Ken a couple weeks ago: the only thing faster than his shipping was his $6 refund due to being able to ship my order via flat rate.

If only Ken made better seats for Kubotas.... :)

You're welcome Ken!

Hopefully, not a further hijack, since you have a pic with chain in it: What is the normal length chain that people carry around in their tractor? Not knowing anything better, I took one 20' G70 5/16", cut it in half, put a hook on each end to make two 10' chains. Except for perhaps a big root ball, I can't imagine needed more than 10' at a time.

But enlighten me as needed!

Thanks,

FTG, I personally find 5/16" G70 chain in 10' lengths perfect for my uses.

Ok, perfect! This is mainly for use with the FEL, correct?

Thanks,

Yes. I do have a separate 20' one if I need to drag/pull something, but I rarely use that one.

Speaking of chains...

I moved this old piece to the "rot in peace" pile today. Chain + hooks made it simple.

I just got mine in the mail today. The shipping was very fast and I'm pleased with the hooks. Hope to put them on tomorrow.
