I bought a 04 F250 in oct. of 04.Its a standard cab,5.4,auto.a/c,snowplow package,trailer towing package,and 3.73 L.S. The best i ever got with it was 16.1 mpg,in the dead of summer,with no load.The worst i ever got was 12.5
in the dead of winter, with no load. This is driving back and forth to work, basically flat and straight roads with 1 stop both ways.I have done no mods. to this truck at all,but i think it is probably the most babied F250
in the country.I drive it like its going to break most of the time, just because
of the gas mileage.Seems the temp. has a lot to do with mileage.Your trucks a little heavier than mine cause of the extended cab.I have never had mine on a interstate so i dont know what increase in mileage that would make.
But hey,its not a 4 cly. Tacoma,these things do weigh quite a bit,and
lets face it ,there not really built for mileage.
