I just wanted to post some lake and mountain pics that my son took yesterday, its really spectacular sitting out on the lake looking out towards the mountains !

It's begining to sound like your talking yourself into a move to NH.

Couple places for sale down the road from my place on the mountain, we have our own lake too. Not to mention more than enough snow to play with in the winter....

Oh ya, bears and sometimes a moose or 2 too.

Hello, Scott-- I'm from "way up north" in Hanover-- nice area you're in, I used to (36 yrs ago) service pinballs & jukeboxes, and Ossippee Lake Campground was a regular stop in the summer. Lucky you, it seems the weather --after tonight-- will be very pleasant. Nice state, NH, but I fish mostly in VT Walt

Hi,Scott. That camera link is also used by the snowmobile club for winter conditions. I did a lot of snowmobiling in that area,more towards Milton,Wakefield. It is nice up there,sometimes I'll sneak up for a day or afternoon to get away. Yankee Smokehouse is pretty good too. Canoe King are nice people too. Camera had to be fixed because of thunder and lightening storm. plowking

Good Mornin Guys,
Thanks for the compliments on the pictures ! Yesterday we took the boat and went out on the big lake with our friends, beached the boat on one of the sandy spots on the south shore and had lunch a couple of beers and a nice swim ! The water temp was perfect !

This morning a band of showers came through but its going to clear by noon. We are thinkin about goin to Mt Washington or shoot over to the Maine coast for some chowder !

I apologize, your going to have to wait till next sunday for more pics because my son took his computer home which was the only laptop up here that had a port for a flash card ! So future pics are coming its just going to be a few days, sorry !

Cant get over how quiet it got here after everyone left on sunday night, amazing !

If you are thinking of heading to Mt. Washington, you have to plan on driving up the auto road to the top. It is amazing and the best views from the top. Pick a day with the warmest temps and lowest wind, you can plan on the temp being about 25 degrees cooler at the top. For three of us in a car, it was $27 and well worth the trip. They even give you a CD to play that explains the history of the auto road on the way up. Gift shops and the observatory make it fun at the top too!
