Tractor
Few John Deere's and one Ford 3600 diesel.
does anyone know if JD would finance the loader later on down the road after i paid off my tractor? i looked around on here through some old posts and only found stuff about Kubota and NH doing that. i got the joystick and scv's already on the tractor, but didnt get a loader because i didnt want my payments to exceed $400, and buying the bush hog was more important at the present time. i totally forgot to ask the guy today when he dropped my tractor off, so i figured someone out there must be wondering the same thing as i am.

It is a lot harder. I bought my 5525 without a FEL and ended up paying cash for it. I wish I had just gotten it all at one time.

John Deere Ag Credit is pretty good - I bet they come up with something.

My dealer just told me I got upgrade to Gold with JD Credit - not sure what that means...probably that i am a known JD addict.

I have never heard of JD doing that...not that they don't-but I have never heard about it before.

i wish i could have gotten it all at one time too. ive seen tons of stuff i could already do with the fel.lol if i had gotten it though i would be without a bush hog, and thats something i really needed. had to get my tractor alot earlier then i had planned though, so i didnt have the $$ saved up i had hoped to have. i dunno what my status with Deere is, but when i had tog et approved for financing, i was already in the computer from buying a z-turn last year. it only took about 1 min to get approved for the tractor. hopefully in 4 yrs when i pay my tractor off, theyll remember me and let me finance the fel, some wheel weights, and something else im sure ill think of by then. if only buying a vehicle was as easy and fast as buying a tractor....

i have heard of them financing frontier equipment later on down the road, but figured they might finance the fel too since it is a JD product. might have to buy a planter made by Frontier or something so theyll maybe finance the fel too.

Yeah - I bet they hook you up. I did the exact same thing. 5525 with batwing was the most I was going to spend and I still hate that payment until it is 108 degrees and I am in the cab mowing...

I just bought a manure spreader and used disc cutter - they financed it no problem.

Pretty sure they would finance it if you have good credit. Will you get zero percent like you would have if you got it with the tractor... Dunno....

After 4 years of no FEL you might realize that the tractor is still pretty functional. You might notice I am without a FEL and my tractor is still functional. Only time I "had" to lift something was when I was taking an extra implement home. I just used my homemade boompole (about $50) and loaded the BB in the back of my truck.

You can always finance it later through your bank, credit card or JD. But like someone mentioned, I doubt you will get zero interest on just that. But your dealer should be able to answer that in a second today.

Enjoy!

Yeah - I grew up without a front end loader. We had a 3 pt boom thing - it worked OK. FEL is high on the list of stuff I don't think I could live without. :)
