After all fellas, this is the JD forum. Seems like the proper place to rah rah our green machines. Kinda like the bs when you tell your company/platoon/squad etc that we're the best #$% company/platoon/squad that's ever been in the whole #$%&*@# U.S. Army. May not be true, but it sure feels good to say it.

Never had any experience with any other color of contemporary tractors, but spent a bunch of hours as a kid on M-5 Moline, UB Moline, M Farmall, 1855 Oliver, and of course JD 4010 and 4020s. Pop's old 1855 is still sitting out at the farm waiting on me to get time to get him running and fixed up a bit. Guess he will have to adjust to all that JD green when the time comes.

I got back in the tractor game in 2005 and went JD because the 03 model fit me at the time from advice I received on this forum and went green mainly because of the dealer network out in my neck of the woods. Have not been disappointed with JD's parts system either.

Its a great country where we have so many choices to rag each other about.

To prove westy wrong.. I actualy DO dream about owning a big new shiny NH tractor.. it's at the top of my 'dream' list... If that's not evidence.. ;) then what is!
Here is more proof.
I had dreams of owning a Purty Orange KUBOTA for 20 years.
That dream finally came true 11/2004 when my NEW BX23 was delivered to me.
Then In 2006 I had another dream of owning a sweet little nifty BX1500.
Than dream came true in a double portion on 11/2007 when 2 BX 1500 tractors were delivered here~~~ one new one and one used one.

"Some men see things as they are and say why? I dream things that never were and say Why not"

George Bernard Shaw

I like to think there are more important things in the world to worry about than "what" tractor somebody uses or "where" it was made...if only the world were that simple.

The odd events and content that occur in dreams are typically accepted without question by the dreaming mind. The unquestioning acceptance of dream content is due to the strength of internally generated perceptions. Within the dream, these strange, illogical perceptions are not seen as being out of place. If the dream is remembered upon waking, the content of the dream is seen as difficult to explain.

Sorry Soundguy - After thinking about it for a couple of hours, I just couldn't let the opportunity pass. :D:D:D:D

Blah, Blah, Blah....

How many times can you say the same thing without any point. We all know everyone does not dream green.

Seriously, do you have a mental problem? Knowling the real answer to that question would help us out in dealing with you.

I believe lbrown was refering to the fact that the poster implied that JD was the best, no matter what.. and that everybody sectrtly wanted one.. but many couldn't afford them.. yada.. yada.. yada.. etc. That's the 'hooey' part.. etc...

I don't always agree with Lbrown.. ( maybee only occasionally?? ) but I think your message was hostile and uncalledfor.
