Valvoline anyone use it

The one funny thing I remember is that the WalMart filters did better than 95% of the others tested and were the cheapest.

I don't doubt that. As much as some guys hate the WalMart house oil, I really have no specific evidence where their oil has caused any problem when used properly. Maybe my consistency is inconsistency.

I've used Valvoline Premium Blue last two oil changes on my DK45. I am happy with the oil. Between this oil and using Kubota premium hydraulic oil (both changed at same time) my idle RPM's increased and had to be adjusted. That tells me friction is reduced. Unfortunately, I changed both oils and filters at same time so do not know which had the major effect. I have used Valvoline exclusively for 30 years. Run full synthetic in my Dodge 2500 V10 since new in 2003.

It will not cause issue but it is not that great either. You get what you pay for.

Valvoline Premium Blue is okay. worth about $15 for 4 qts. No more since the VOA are not that great.

I use Vavoline exclusively in my auto's both for over 100,000 miles and had the heads off my truck for head gaskets and there was no sludge or build-up. I use regular Valvoline and change it at 3000 mi

I use it in all my vehicles and motorcycle. Good oil, but for the tractors I use Shell Rotello.

The mechanic who does most of the work on my vehicles swears by Valvoline. He says engines that have been using Valvoline are cleaner (less sludge and wear) than others when he tears them down.
