The two black ones are probably common Rat Snakes. Very common and harmless. The fancy colored ones are copperheads. Very dangerous with a reputation for holding their ground.
I went out for a walk this morning and saw a grey fox on the peninsula of our big pond. I guess the wind was just right and it must have been concentrating on hunting, because I was out in the open, just walking down the road.
Distance was about 100 yards and I was at 12x on the zoom, which is the maximum of the optical zoom.
Eddie - He has either a young beaver or a muskrat in his mouth. Wish he was facing the camera for the photo. I've seen him several times from my deer stand, impressive animal.
