The pic of the five bears would look good on a calender. Wonder what they are looking at?
...i used to think, "i don't need one of them thar game cams"........i think i just added something to my Christmas list
My Game Camera is a Stealthcam. I've had Moultree and hated it, and I had one from Walmart that was pure junk. I forget the name, but I think it was the same as a cheap binocular company.
We've had tremendous fun with our game camera and consider checking it and seeing what's on it a big family event. We do this every Saturday and can have anywhere from 300 to 900 pictures on it. Since it's digital, we just delete most of them and only keep a few that are either unique, or show a particular animal that we're interested in.
Here's a few of our game camera pics.

Nothing wrong with adding new topics to a thread!!!
The Moultree was supposed to be my fancy, new game cam that would work off of a solar panel. I bought botht the camera and solar panel from Moultree so that it would work. When it arrived, there was no instructions on how to connect the two. Since I'm only half an idiot, I followed the terminals from the batteries to a port on the outside that should supply power to keep them charged. The solar panel that they sold me didn't fit. It's adapters didn't fit. It wasn't even close.
I called Moultree and sat on hold for as long as an hour, but usually gave up allot sooner. Every time I called, they were experiencing higher then normal volume. After a few months of this, I just returned them.
While waiting, I set up the camera and ran it off of batteries. The pics were nothing to brag about, and getting it to actually take pics was a challange. My Stealthcam is very sensitive and will take pics of the grass moving in the wind. The Moultree would have five or six pictures on it for an entire evening. The corn would be gone, it would have a few pics of hogs, but nothing compared to the Stealthcam. The instructions are dificult to follow and I really hate having to go through all the steps to get it where I wanted it. But even after spending all that time figuring it out, it didn't do what I wanted it to do, which is take lots and lots of pictures. I can delete them and I have a few 2GB cards, so there is no such thing as too many pics. It just wouldn't do it.
The other game camera was just junk. It had an ifra red flash on it that is supposed to get pictures of animals without scaring them with a flash. I thought that was a good idea and set it up at a wollow that the hogs use every night. It never captured a single animals. It took pics that were always black. I had that camera five feet from the wallow and I still couldn't make out anythying in the pictures. It also ate up batteries at an alarming rate. I can go a few weeks on my Stealthcam with a thousand or more pictures on it before changing batteries, but this one was dead after one night. I tried it again with new batteries and had the same problem. A dozen black pictures and the batteries were dead.
I've also given up on Moultree for feeders. They last a year, and then you toss them. I keep my feeder going year round and the one I have now from Cabela's is awesome. If it says Moultree on it, I won't bother with it.
I still want another camera and I want a solar panel for my main camera at the feeder. I can go weeks on a set of batteries, but it kills me the day I show up and the batteries are dead. Who knows what was there and what I missed?
In the latest Cabela's catalog, I've been comparing the different brands and featurs they offer with what they cost, and I keep coming back to the Stealthcam. It works and it's easy to operate.
