If that is true why has oil production increased over the years yet prices have outpaced those increases.

The supply of oil has increased, but the demand for oil has increased at a greater rate, hence higher prices for oil.

Give it another month and we will be climbing back up to 5.00.

I saw it at $3.84 a gallon here yesterday at one place. Don't stock up yet. The price should fall more in the next few weeks before it starts going back up again.

I've been on the road since August 4 & I've been watching the price drop daily. I bought gas today for 3.29 yesterday in Missouri - - that's the cheapest I've seen it.

The theory that oil came from dinasours doesn't add up either. If this is true, how many dinasours had to die to create all that oil? I can't do the math, but even over millions of years, that's allot of dead animals that somehow turn to oil and work it's way down thousands and thousands of feet into the core of the planet.

Maybe this makes more sense . Oil is just trapped Hydrocarbons that were part of our atmosphere millions of years ago just like the atmosphere of Venus etc is today . But that's a thought coming from a guy that can't undestand how i can walk around the Earth holding a spirit level by my side and the bubble will stay centered for the whole distance .

Update -> I filled my mower can yesterday and regular was down to $3.27 Yahoo. When I drove by the station 2 hours later it was down to $3.21.

I paid 3.42 last nite.
Saw diesel was under 4.00 for on road .
Off road ought to be quite a bit less .

Gas was $3.39 and diesel was $4.09 here in northern Indiana this weekend.

$2.94 for unleaded this morning and $3.49 for diesel in MN
