With very little pressure you push the little button on the tip against any rigid surface and it opens releasing the residual pressure in the backhoe. You can also simply insert it into the female connection and when it encounters the valve it will relive the pressure and EASILY go in until it completes the connection. Yes I just saw the comparable coupling at TSC. Pioneer VP8010-15P-DC and the sku# is 8250600200. I thought the price was around $13.00 but not sure about that.
It looks like the same coupling as the site that you directed us to.

Just had this problem today (loader), I used two wrenches and bled off at fitting to hose connection. Took me at least 10 minutes of silent looking and thinking and looking and thinking to figure out what was up. The kick in the head part was, when I finally hooked everything up, my bucket controls moved the boom and my boom controls moved the bucket. Didn't take long to figure out that no matter how hard I blew into those fittings there was no way I was gonna loosen things up. PS, Hydro doesn't taste so good.
