Kubota B7100
I'm Missing a grease fitting on my loader #1630 and went to tractor supply remembering that Kubota is Metric. Unfortunately the threaded fitting doesn't seem to fit. Is this fitting a plug-in style found only at the dealer?

Well It should Thanks for the tip I'll try to run by a dealer tomorrow.

I also noticed on the close up of your B7100 in your last post about filling your tractor tires that the ROPS is or seems to be welded on the box housing the PTO. Is this something you came up with or is that stock B7100.

I've got some quotes for installing a ROPS on mine $ 700.00 + and one said that they might have to cut the the fenders to make it fit.

Yes it is Welded to the PTO cover but it came with the tractor when I bought it.

So I do not know who made it but I would think that it is from Kubota.

Certainly many loaders were USA made. Those would have standard thread fittings. The smaller thread is 1/4" x 28TPI.The larger ones would be 1/8"NPT.Good Luck!

Ah, were it that simple. I have a Kubota USA aftermarket power steering kit on my "Bota, and I have been trying to replace a straight grease zerk with an angled one. The smallest fittings are too big- 1/4 x 28 or whatever is too big! It is made in the USA, and isn't metric. Believe me, I have tried to find one!

Just ran into this at my part-time job at Carquest today-Edelman offers a 3/16" grease fitting. We're ordering one in to compare with a fitting on a Case TLB bucket. 6MM is almost the same size as 1/4 x 28,so it must be smaller. The only other thread size I can think of is 1/16"NPT which I've only seen used on Roadranger transmissions on heavy duty road tractors(semis). We tried to get some for a golf course customer some months ago,but it turned out to be a Toro only product!

Well I called a couple of dealers about my Kubota 1630 FEL with the numbers that Chuckanut gave me, they all said the grease fitting was "L" shaped. So something must be wrong because as little as I know about tractors the part I'm looking at is not "L" shaped.

I got through to a mechanic at one place and he said to pull one of the other fittings out using vise grips then bring it in for a match up. I hope I'm not going to be looking for two fittings because I've ruined a perfectly good fitting.

Also it does look like this grease fitting is not threaded but a tap in.

Do a search on here for ROPs, you can get one 'at cost' or whatever through Kubota since your tractor was originally sold without one.
