Is there a cab that fits a 2310?

Did you look at the MF cab for the 2300? It looks like it has a hard windshield, two doors with soft sides from the brochure on the MF website. No clue on price, but its probably a lot!

I have done searches on this forum and the Internet, but haven't been able to find any useful info on a cab that fits a 2310.

I'm not sure I really need or want one, but am interested in knowing what's available.

Does anyone have a picture, link, or price?

Thanks,
Jay

Thanks for the links. I'll make a few calls to see what's available, and what they cost.

After looking at some of the prices for other machines, I'll probably just put up with being exposed to the elements for this winter....

Jay

My dealer gave me a price of $1500 for the cab enclosure.

Ouch.

Under different circumstances, I might consider something like that. But our driveway is pretty sheltered from the nasty winds, and with the 54" snow blower, it should take me 30-45 mins - and I have enough layers of LL Bean clothes to keep me warm.

....then when I come inside, there's a wood stove and Grand Marnier to dry off and take care of the inner chill. :D

I have a Sears Craftsman Cab...was cheap when I bought it, only $199 on sale last year...works great...I'll upload some pics when I set it up for this winter in a few weeks. Only downfall is it has no back to it, but for the price compared to others, works for me!!!

DEWFPO,
What dealer do you do business with? I figured that price was a bit high ($1500) but finally talked the wife into letting me get it.

So, called my dealer, but the quote I got was..... $4300. That's soft side cab with heat, plus install fee. Thought he must have got his numbers crossed or something. But, they sounded confident on the model and price. I bought and deal with Northwood Power in Northwood and they seem pretty much on the ball. Still, I'm having a hard time understanding how a SOFT-SIDE cab for a sub-compact can run $4000!

Has anyone else bought the cab for their unit recently?

I priced the soft side cab a couple years ago. The installation cost was almost the same as the cab itself. Was told it took 2 guys, a full day to install. Once it goes on, you will never want to take it off.

The $1500 price (Sept. 07) included the chute rotator control for the snowblower as well. Contact Brian @ Montrose Implement (Montrose, CO) (970) 240-1720.

Thanks DEWFPO.

But, I thought you were over here on the east coast, so that isn't going to help me. I did go get a second quote from my next closest dealer, Knoxland Equipment Inc, and they came in with Cab, heater, plus install at $3650.

About 700 cheaper. Maybe by the time I got a quote as far away as you are...the price might be reasonable

Still WAY, WAY to much green. Now I'm thinking about building something myself. Would love to see pictures and or ideas of what others might have done.

The $1500 quote was for the MF hard cab (made by Curtis) and the electric chute rotator control but no heat.

Hey guys

You can google Laurin Cabs and check out their cool Eclipse model. They have a downloadable brochure that shows the cab on a GC2300. I was thinking of buying one of these for my 1532 but they don't make one for it and they couldn't tell me how much modification would be required to put a 1533 cab on my unit. I am probably better off to just get a 1533 later with all the options I want.
