If it does, neither you nor I will be around to find out. And remember, just because some 8Ns are that old, not all of them lasted that long. I personally think the Jubilee and later Fords of that era were certainly better tractors as far as function. I even think Harry Ferguson did Ford a favor by making him change the hydraulic system to an engine mounted pump. That allowed live hydraulics. But, that's another discussion. For their time, the 8Ns were a very successful and well-built tractor with interchangeable parts and a dealer network that could provide service. Many of them provide excellent service even today.
I have always liked Ford medium-gray paint with a red belly. The retro model seems to have a paint that is more gray than the 8N in the background. The Ford medium-gray has a more "creamy" look to it than other gray paints.
It's really too bad that they didn't show one of those tractors with the hood raised. It looks like it hinges and raises just like the current Boomers. Also, that seat is really over-the-top with its vented cushion that carries the look of the old pan-type tractor seats. I think I see the toolbox on the left side of the operator's platform too. It looks very much like the current Class III Boomers. I can't wait until these show up at a show somewhere. Maybe Neil Messick could get one to show at his open house. I might buy an airplane ticket just to come see that.

Me too Jim. My favorite was the all power 640-series Workmaster models. Have to admit, this one looks REALLY COOL.

It should start shipping in 3-4 months. Its a 50Hp machine with a CVT transmssion!

Wow! Reading the description of this tractor I thought they were talking about a Toyota Prius - LED headlights, CVT tranny, and on demand electronic info. Sounds like NH may actually be ahead of the curve technolgically. Looking forward to seeing one in action!

Thanks for that info, Neil. It probably saved me an airplane ticket by knowing my dealer will have some in inventory too.
Of course, I already see things I think I'd want different. I don't see any pedals on the left (brakes) and they should have built the tail lights into the rear fenders. They are still tree limb targets.
