I'm curious if they're good for ice fishing holes. Not going to try to start a global warming Al goreing politicizeing ice drilling post... But, it has been a decade or so since we saw the potential for thick-frozen lakes like we have right now...

YES. It is RedBrand no climb horse fence. Thats why I thought I could space out greater than every 8 feet. Here in Ocala Fl area lots of people do not go three or four board rather wire and what they refer to as "top board"
Hope this clears it up. While we are on the subject of wire mesh: best way to roll it out. I do not want to roll out 300 feet of fence on the ground and attempt to stand it up and tighten. Has anyone seen the fence attachment at Tractor Supply? It attaches to the 3 pt of the tractor and allows for easy unrolling and tightening.

Thanks, and maybe a few more acres,
but we need a few more trees. But I'm working on that. Hey, that fence puller-stretcher works very well and you can use it at any point of the fence. It doesn't have to be at the end. Very reasonable and available at Harbor Freight, Northern Tools and the like.dixiejimmy

drjay i have 3 point hitch auger and a wire roller you can borrow for awhile. i live in oldtown.

If you find anyone around here that rents a PHD, let me know, as I have some holes that need digging and I am too lazy to dig them by hand...
My last search ended up with everyone telling me that it was too risky to rent PHD out to the general public. Kind of saw their point, but still need one.
