Thanks for the video link. It was nice to have a walk around view of this model as it is interesting.

I liked the image on the marketing brief of the Blue and gray Boomer 8n concept. I know Red is the original color but Blue is the color I prefer still and is why I love my little Blue and gray Ford 640 (was repainted by previous owner to look like the current Fords).

That tractor is too good looking to use. I would be affaid to put a scratch or a dent in it. We dont have enough parades around here to justify haveing it for that.

It's definitely a "waxin' tractor." :D

That has got to be the coolest looking tractor I've ever seen! That thing is going to turn heads. The seat could really do without the holes, though. :D A CVT trandsmission in this class of tractor is really intriguing. Wonder if they will move it along to their other compacts?

Jim,

Wow, they have done their homework on marketing gig, many of my colleagues at work perfectly fill that niche market. I'm impressed. I hope they offer a 30-35 hp as well, I'm looking forward to seeing her in person:D:D Is 8n Gender neutral?

So is it a Japanese compact under that sheet metal?

If I am right it is the same tractor as you can buy now from NH but with a new dress to attract people who grew up around the N series tractors (which is japanese). Why do you ask though? Aren't most compacts made in Japan or other Asian countries?

I can't wait to try the CVT transmission behind 50 hp. I'll bet a lot of people will be put off by the loss of visibility over the sloping hood that so many of us have become accustomed to. I'm hoping that the improvements in this model will find their way into the normal Class III tractors. Just think, now we can have gear vs HST vs CVT wars on TBN.
