5 Gallon Cans and the American's with Disabilities Act

I completely severed my thumb muscle and have almost no use of my left thumb. Try doing something without a thumb. I don't know, maybe you already know what I'm talking about.

Let us say I have a very polite and non offending left hand, I also did damage to the thumb, at the skin end of the nail I cut little more than 1/2 way though.(palm side going to nail) Had an extraordinary surgeon that tied the end of the muscle by way of "thread" up through "material", of which I lost some of, and through the thumb nail and tied it to a button. Maybe you can picture that, just do not know how to describe it better. End of thumb has no feeling, used to be a part time cabinet maker, may still be just have not had the time to try and make a really fine piece, will most assurely will be more difficult and slower. I have seen a button tool for people than have arthritus, if I can find it again I will certainly let you know.

Wow, you make me realize how lucky I am. I hit the end of my thumb with the allen screw that holds the blade in on my sawzall. If the saw had slipped a bit more I would have gotten my thumb chewed up by the blade. All I had happen was the thumb was smashed and the end of it now comes to more of a rounded point than just rounded. I broke the end of the bone off and had to have stitches in the skin underneath the thumbnail. Luckily the cuts did not make it through anything more than just skin tissue. I never lost any use of that thumb at all.

I was very lucky too, as stated before, only by the sweet Grace of my God do I have a hand and not a hook. I wish I could relate a story to you of elaborate circumstances of equipment failure or malfunction but in absolute truth I had a severe attack of stupid. I broke one of my safety rules in the shop. It was the first time I had ever broken it, and I assure you I had at least 5 conscious thoughts of what I was doing and did not heed the voices. I did this to my self. Ok confession is over. Lets talk tanks and spouts some more.

I think I recently saw some with the old self-venting dribble spout types, like the one Bird has pictured. I'll check again. If I see them, do you want me to get you some? I'm headed south in a few weeks, I go I-84 to I-81. I actually drive very close to Wallace Tractor. I could drop them there or at your place if you are nearby.

I use a siphon hose that I got at Bass Pro store. It works fast and gets almost every drop of fuel out of the can. Not one of those with a bulb that you have to pump. You just stick the end in the can and shake it up and down a few times and it starts flowing. Here is a link.

I just take the spout off this .
Then i stick the end of the hose hanging on the wall in it and pump the fuel into whatever I'm fueling.

Even GAS?
