I haven't looked in the store lately. So they no longer sell those fuel can nozzles they used to sell for gas cans?
I'll jump out on a limb here. Suppose you drill a hole in the bottom of the front of an unused, clean gas can and attach a fuel line hose and shut off valve? Set the gas can on a milk crate or something to elevate it above whatever you are filling. Put the hose in the tank and open the valve?
Different construction would be to add a brass hose barb from a plumbing supply place to the bottom side of the can, attach the fuel line hose and then put a shut off valve at the end of the hose. Make the hose long enough to store on the handle of the gas can.
The difficult part is figuring out how to reach down in the gas can to hold the nut and washer that will be used on the inside to make the connection leak tight. Maybe tape the washer and nut to a long handled 3/8 breaker bar and then twist the barb connection tight from the outside of the can?
Something like this?
