land is really out of control. We've been seeing farm land at 12-15,000 per acre for awhile. You see many more people renting land rather than buying.
Yup... scary economic times -- folk's are looking for "anything" that they think will be secure.
Saw on the news a night or two ago there were people lined up outside a bank to buy "T-bills"; Federal Treasury notes. It was newsworthy because the yield was 0%!!
But, people at least, had the "security" that they wouldn't lose their money and at least get back - what they put in...
