When I ordered my 2007 3720, the mid pto was about a $600 option. Dealer said the kit was about the same price but it took several hours to put on. I ordered the tractor with the option in place.

I believe the mid PTO kit is only available for the E-Hydro model. If you have the Power Reverser model it's not compatible, at least on JD Builder it isn't

Deere calls the mid PTO on powerreverser 3320, 3520 or 3720 a "dealer-installed" or "field-installed" option and won't have it factory-installed. I don't know why that is. My dealer is quite ready to deliver the tractors with the mid PTO installed though. Hope you can sort this out.

When you click the supplied link, the mediafile page will have a yellow box to the left that says "click to begin download" click that and choose to save to computer. Then just save to where ever you want to store it on your computer. I just tested it, and had no problems, is anyone else not able to download it?

That looks easy enough to put in.
I thought the "Yellow Box" was for "TaxAct" and I didn't want to download that today.

So my dealer service "kid" told me $577.00 last monday with 1/20 earliest availability, can't find from other dealers stock and yesterday I caught him off guard and he said $550.00 ..ish- $700.00 installed. Another dealer quoted $800.00 installed. Had it in stock.

Back in Sept. I was quoted around $625.00 installed from both dealers.

So I'm hoping someone can give me an actual price that is believable.

Are the 4*00 series tractors the same?

$600 was what I paid when I bought mine, definitely deal;er installed, like everyone is saying.

I am just updating this post to note that the mid PTO is definitely compatible with the Power Reverser. You just can't order it that way, you have to have the dealer install it or do it yourself ( it's easy).
