Brian, are you saying when working your blade, the boom is not parallel to the ground?
You should be able to lower the drag links and lengthen or shorten the top link until the boom is parallel to the ground. A combination of adjustments I would think?

I have a light one on my NH 40hp tractor. I just bent it today. Caught the end of it on something in drive I was clearing. I think I will look at the Land Pride models. I am also going to look at their tiller. I would go pretty heavy. Also, make sure it is wider than your back wheels. The one I have now is the same width. When driving forward, I have to drive the tractor off the road in the snow to get the blade where I need it to clear the snow from the edge of the road.

Rob, while working, the boom is close to parallel, but when raised up the blade is only 6-8" off the ground. Then shorten the top link and it is ok to transport. Just would like it to be higher without always needing to shorten the top link. As you know, it is a lot of work to pull that lever to retract the hydraulic.

Slippy, be sure to get one that has offset ability. The Land Pride 35 series can offset 12" and the 40 series can offset 30". So if you got either an 84" or a 96" rear blade along with some offset, you would be able to stay on the road better. The 40 series looks to be quite a bit better than the 35 series.

Yeap, you are correct Brian. Looking at Land Pride right now. Went to a power show this weekend. Lots of good stuff, and the guys from Land Pride really took the time to talk with me about various issues. They were the same way last year. Going to check out their roto tiller also.
