When FEB ends I consider it the end of winter.

HEH , that is cute to see the deer like that in the snow. However for lbrown, not sure which calender you are looking at but beware the ides of march, It could dump 2 ft of snow in your area.

Love the picture, but feel sorry for the deer. I'm guessing that's just a bad section that they were working through, and I hope they found a better place with less snow.

Actually you might have 4 seasons. Winter before Lake Erie freezes and winter after it freezes. Lord knows the lake effect dwindles to nil. Then August and finally then deer season.

I got this pic/message via email and just pasted it to this post. First, I only wish we had/have his amount of snow here in SE Ohio. Secondly, if the first deer was female....it may not be so bad being behind!? After all...don't they always run the show?
