New Holland 8N

Got to drive the New Holland 8N proto type today. The CVT transmission is very nice and smooth. The throttle controls are linked to the accelerator pedal. There are some ranges to select from and some other electronic settings we where not able to use fully. The weather was not in our favor and we only got to drive it around the parking lot. We are excited about the possibilities of this new tractor to the New Holland Line up.

Nice!! Did you get any more pics, like from the seat, etc?? I assume it is a Shibuhara built like the rest of the line up??

The engine is from the TC tractor line up . The transmission and rear end was something that none of us recognized from other New Holland tractors. Our guess was that it was something from Europe that comes along with the new CVT transmission. IT was really cold and windy when we too the opportunity to see this tractor and we didnt get to ask a lot of questions. Just a ride and drive and get back to the warm truck

Dad went to look at it in Louisville at the farm show today. If he brings back anything new I'll add it here.

Hi ! I know FORD 8N . My father buy one NEW in 1948 With Lights Bumper and one two moldboards plow DEARBORN for 1300$ cdn. I learn drive tractor on this one. The new 8N is attractive I think it will be a succes. Good luck! Oldmech
