That rubber T is the hydraulic supply from the reservoir. The small line is feeding your HST transmission. The large part goes to the main hydraulic pump and may be a source of air leaking into the pump. You probably have air getting into the HST charge pump line too, but it seems you still have enough oil to keep the transmission going, at least at low speeds. I think you got lucky because you may take care of your leak by simply retightening the clamps. Chalk one up for the good luck column.:)

I can't really add much to what IronHorse has suggested. I think you'll soon have your TC off the stumps and be back in business. That also looks like a fair location to work. You could have had the tractor surrounded by a bunch of brush. It looks like every side is very accessible.

I would do some blocking on the rear and front wheels, jack up a wheel at a time and get some wood under the wheels. Have enough wood between the front and rear tire so you can go forward and that will keep the rear from dropping back down on the front stump. Or the same going backward.

good evening tractor friends,replaced clamp with negative results,so I removed rubber hose tee and discovered puncture. does anyone have a parts diagram so I can order a new tee? I could drive to the NH dealer with part but want to make sure its on the shelf before wasting half a day. thanks again,Cary

Try Partspring.com at this page, HST Piping section 7.11, Part #9. (Connector 3-Way.) My TC40D parts list is number SBA398120870. My scanner has siezed so I can't scan the page.

And in addition, Messicks.com has the part;

CONNECTION, 3 WAY
SBA398120870
1 Needed for Job
$20.73 Avail in 3-5 business days

If Messicks does not have it in stock, then I'd bet your dealer does not either. But at least this will get you started.

Thanks for the update. Keep us posted. Nice to hear you also do not have snow to add to your agony.

BTW, Beautiful House. Is that raised up, or is there a full basement like we have here??

Good luck.

I am not confident of using the forks in the manner i suggested with the bucket . The forks will be nearly 4' long and will exert to much force on the crowd rams as the leverage advantage will be greater than a bucket . And also the ground contact area is only small compared to the bucket , please take care .
