Like me, you may have Renaud's syndrome.
It is damage to the veins in the extremeties (usually hands) and generally caused by vibration.
Jonsered & Huskaverna discussed this in detail in some earlier user manuals.
It is why most chain saws now have rubber mounted handle bars.
In my case I ran old outboard motors a lot in my youth as well as an old Cobra chain saw; all without vibration isolated hand grips.
My solution is gortex lined deerskin work gloves.
My hands are so bad that I cannot feel the differance between a razor blade and a 5/16 bolt in a pocket.
Makes cold weather work very difficult.
I now always wear a 'Russian type hat with ear flaps' as the hair is also getting kinda on the thin side. (helps some)
