Making a cap w/ pics

Work is slow and I needed a project, so I decided to build a cab.
I needed to keep the overall height under 81 inches to get into a garage.
I used an old squat rack someone gave me.
I made two loader brackets and painted them orange. Next I made a windshield frame. Then I made rear supports.
I made it so I can break it down and take it off quickly.
I used a sun shade top I bought for the top.

Off topic question - what are all the white squares covering your walls?

The work looks clean and good. But what is the purpose? Will you be installing glass? Looks like it would be hard on the sides.

I like it , it looks good, it's nice and beefy looking and short like the M series cabs are. Even if you just painted it with that top would look great.
Keep posting pictures of your progress.

I will be enclosing all 4 sides, door on each side.
Build a little, take a break and think. Sometimes you need to step back and solutions just come to you.

I took some different angle shots and the last pic was from a tractor cab I was looking at to copy.
My ROPS is up and can fold to fit into a 7 foot garage door and leave the cab in place.

I like. We will be building some similar for our 1523. It will also be built around the ROPS canopy, which we will be building also.

It really looks very good so far, very clean look, nice angles I like it much better then the one you copied from.
Paint the frame rops gray like the factory cabs are. Think about how you can do it with as much glass as possible. Any glass company can make up 1/4 in safety glass any size and can get you a rubber channel to hold the glass in place. My factory windshield is held in place by just four clamps brackets holding the rubber glass gasket to the frame . I see no reason why you couldn't do the same. It will look great rops gray and as much glass as you can.
