I think you need some more wires coming out of the breaker panel in the back ground!

Knight,

Yesterday while looking at another message board, for the hardtop mold, I noticed the exact same 6 foot high basketball hoop mounted on lattice work as you have in one of your photos.

I made a cage to go on my tractor last year. I did it mainly to keep the tree limbs off of me while cutting the edges of the pasture. I can't figure out how to post a pic though. I guess I'm better with a welder than a computer.

I started the doors today. I am going to hinge the doors towards the front of the tractor for two reasons.
1. Better hinge support
2. When I pull forward into the garage, if the doors swung open suicide style, I would not be able to get out of the tractor.
I will make the doors easy to pop off once the are in the open position, so I won't need to drive with doors open.
Any who, I used 1/2" conduit bender to bend 1/2" square stock. Works good without kinking.
I think I will be using acrylic doors because it will not fade in the sun as plex, or lexan.

**** I don't want to make a mess of the fenders, with unnecessary drilling, rubbing doors, or ugly brackets.
Did I mention, I wax my tractor........ okay go easy now!

Excellent. Keep the pics coming.

Where do you buy the acrylic?? Home Depot??

We are thinking along the same lines here. What did you use to fasten the metal frame to the fender??

I have a friend that owns a plastic shelf manufacturing company. He recommended acrylic.
I am not fastening to the fenders, The 1/2" square tube is the door frame. It will stop against the side of the fender.

Good looking job and______________Great looking car..thanx :( car is gone we have granite counter tops now :(

I do a lot of work with acrylic- easy to work with (with the right blades), but it scratches very easily. I've got sheets of it in the shop but when I get my cab built I'll use safety glass. I'm not going to put that much work in to it then have it scratched up every time I want to wipe the dust off of it.

BTW- don't get Home Depot acrylic- that is extruded, looks like crap and is weak. Get the real cast acrylic at least. It's stronger, easier to work with and does not have the obvious distortions that extruded does.
